ICEGATE platform serves as an infrastructure project which helps to fulfil a department’s Electronic Data Interchange or Electronic Commerce and Data Communication requirements.
Traders, import service providers, freight transporters, etc. are the preliminary users of ICEGATE. Each has an ICEGATE ID, which is used to keep track of all the records and bar non-registered users from commencing their commercial activities.
ICEGATE had also extended its reach into several other industries. For instance, it is used by numerous licensing and governmental organisations to maintain crucial papers. On the other hand, ICEGATE plays a significant role in assisting the public in paying their taxes online quickly and without facing any hassle.
